Vocations Promotions in West IndiesBrother Robert Fanovich, vocations director in the West Indies, has been busy in recent weeks. Brother Robert, who lives in Grenada, travelled in recent days to the sister isle of Carriacou to meet with a Catholic organisation, L'Esterre Catholic Youth Group. He spoke to them about life's options, the Presentation Brothers and about future plans.
Last month he spent a weekend with the youth coordinators of Grenada, giving a talk on "Why Choose the Half Life?" That event took place in Sauteurs in the north of the island.

In Memoriam: Br James Fidelis Clifford Br James Fidelis Clifford of Presentation Brothers, Reading, England died on Thursday, 19th May 2011, in Reading.
Br Fidelis was born to Michael and Catherine (Teahon) in Sneem, Co. Kerry on 10th June 1925. He entered the Presentation Brothers at Mount St Joseph, Cork in 1942. He made First Profession of Vows in 1944 and his Final Profession in 1947.

West Africa Province Chapter ReportThe first ever Chapter of the West Africa Province of the Presentation Brothers took place recently in Kongo Renewal Centre in the Upper East Region of Ghana. Brother Francis Agoah represented the Congregation Leadership Team and facilitated the Chapter and Siobhan Quinn, a Presentation Volunteer working in the Province acted as recording Secretary, with Br. Emmanuel Imoru acting as Chapter Secretary. Brother Rupert O ‘Sullivan, Provincial was the President of the Chapter.
The purpose of the Chapter was fourfold.
1. It gave an opportunity to the Province Leadership Team to give an account of their stewardship over the last six years.
2. To elect delegates to represent the Province at the forthcoming Congregation Chapter.
3. To draw up resolutions to put forward to the Congregation Chapter.
4. To discuss issues relevant to the development of the Province over the next six years.
