Our mission is the Christian education of young people. In the past this meant classroom teaching, almost exclusively. The origin of this mission lies in our founder’s, Blessed Edmund Rice, desire to help the poor children of his day by providing a Catholic education.

Today, we still have many Brothers working in schools, particularly in our West Africa Province where there is a need for education.

The challenge facing the Church in the Western World today is the “New Evangelisation”. We are involved in this new effort to find ways of making Christ known and loved among young people.
