We have two communities of Brothers in Nigeria.

Tafawa Balewa in Bauchi State
Community members: Brother James (Community Leader), Brother Matthias, Brother McSimon.
This is known as the Maryam Community in honour of our Blessed Mother.

Gboko in Benue State
Community members: Brother Paul (Community Leader), Brother Augustine, Br Maxwell.
This is our Brother James Prudumme Community, named in memory of the late Brother James – a Presentation Brother missionary from Canada who died in 1993 while serving in the Province.

Nigeria is a growing part of our West Africa Province! There are currently four Nigerian men in our postulancy programme and another three in our novitiate. Br Paul Atole was our first Nigerian Brother to be finally professed. There are a further five men who have made temporary vows: Br John Innocent, Br Tobias Azenda McSimon, Br Raymond Jilun Kafas, Br Maxwell Orkuma and Br Kirwe Yelkoba Matthias.
