Rest In Peace Br. Mark Fitzpatrick

Br. Mark Fitzpatrick died on the 21st of December 2021.

Br. Mark R.I.P. was a deeply spiritual man and a true gentleman of the Presentation.
Mark went to Canada as a novice, and spent practically all his ministerial life there. He was totally dedicated to his vocation. At a relatively young age, he was Provincial in Canada, while teaching full time in Verdun Catholic High School, and taking the novices in Longueuil for evening classes!
To the end, he was interested in developments in the Congregation and always so encouraging.
We sympathise with the Brothers in Maiville on their loss, with Mark’s extended family in North Cork and Limerick, and with his many friends in Canada.
Ar dheis De go raibh a anam uasal (May his noble soul rest at God’s right hand)!

The funeral took place in Christ the King Church, Turner’s Cross, Cork and the homily was given by Br. Raymond Dwyer.

The homily can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
