Friday 25th is Africa day in Ireland. There are different events taking place around Ireland.
In Cork, there are three events taking place.
The first event is short films on Africa One short film is called Keleke It’s is in 80’s in rural Ghana. it is being held today from 6 pm in St John’s College Sawmill road.
The second event is Africa day Cork seminar being held tomorrow 24th May from 5.45pm to 9 pm in the Millenium Hall, City Hall, Cork Guest Speakers Alex Amaye and Lassane Ouedraogo on the African, motives, challenges and opportunities. Light Refreshments will be served.
The third event is the Africa day celebration on Saturday, May 26th from 1 pm to 6 pm in Fitzgerald Park, Mardyke Walk, Cork.
These events have been organised by the funding from Irish aid and have been organised by the Place of Sanctuary Cork, Cork City Council.
