Presentation Brothers Associates: How Non-profits are targeting childhood hunger in Osceola County
Childhood hunger in Central Florida schools is a continuing problem that affects a child’s development and academics. Organisations like the Presentation Brothers Associates responds in a practical way to this problem, by providing food stuff and meals to hundred of children and their families every week. Many children are able to get the nourishment and sustenance their need aiding in their human and academic development.
Sharon Sikorski, who heads the Presentation Brothers Associates in Kissimmee, was interviewed about the backpacks of food that they provide to the children and their families. The Associates are grateful to their may donors and helpers who give of their resources, food items and time to ensure no child is left hungry throughout the week including weekends.
