Background

CLEO was established in 1997 by Brother Matthew Feheney and, since then, over 250 teachers (primary and post-primary) have attained the Masters in Education (MEd) degree, 12 have been awarded the EdD, and 10 have graduated with a PhD.

In addition, 50 CLEO graduates have been appointed to the post of school principal after completing the CLEO programme, most of these generously acknowledging that the programme greatly assisted them towards appointment.

CLEO emphasizes the Roman Catholic tradition in its curriculum. It is a collaborative partner of the University of Hull, a well-regarded university boasting numerous awards, including Top Five in the UK for teaching quality and student satisfaction.
